Agradaa Vows To End Empress Gifty’s Marriage With Explosive Evidence

Controversial Ghanaian televangelist Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as Agradaa or Evangelist Mama Pat, has spoken out following a legal defeat in her ongoing defamation case involving gospel singer Empress Gifty.

The founder of Heaven Way Church appeared at the Tema High Court on Thursday, 26 June 2025, accompanied by her husband, Angel Asiamah, and a team of security personnel.

During the proceedings, the court dismissed an application filed by Agradaa’s legal team seeking to strike out the GH₵20 million defamation suit brought against her by Empress Gifty.

In addition to dismissing the application, the court imposed a fine of GH₵6,000 on Agradaa, citing unnecessary delays caused by her legal team.

Empress Gifty has also filed a fresh lawsuit following alleged comments made by Agradaa, in which she reportedly claimed the gospel musician was HIV positive, a statement Gifty has described as defamatory.

Following the court session, Agradaa addressed her followers in a TikTok livestream, where she reacted to the ruling and revealed her next steps.

Appearing upbeat and confident, the televangelist was seen departing the court premises with her husband as supporters cheered her on.

According to Agradaa, the judge had encouraged both legal teams to advise their clients on the ongoing matter. Seizing the opportunity, she issued a warning to Empress Gifty and her husband, promising to retaliate verbally if they continued to disparage her on social media.

Addressing reports that Empress Gifty and her team felt overwhelmed by the crowd that had gathered to support her, Agradaa rejected claims that the supporters were paid.

She insisted the large turnout was genuine and suggested her critics were simply intimidated by her growing public backing.

The defamation case continues, with the next hearing scheduled for July 2025.

The multiple award-winning gospel singer was in full spirit as she made the court appearance after filing a defamation lawsuit against controversial televangelist Nana Agradaa.

In a video trending on social media, Empress Gifty was given a royal welcome when she made an appearance at the Tema High Court on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

One lady dressed in a pair of trousers and a yellow branded top shielded the gospel singer with a red and black polka dotted giant umbrella.

Another older man dressed in black heaped praises on her and showered her with lovely words while making hand gestures.

The ‘Watch Me’ crooner was touched by the gesture as she smiled and acknowledged the love she was shown by her fans as she appeared before the court once again.

The purpose of Empress Gifty’s court appearance is to settle the matter she has with controversial televangelist Nana Agradaa.

The gospel singer filed a defamation lawsuit against the Heaven Way Chapel International overseer, accusing her of making false claims about her on social media.

Empress Gifty’s fans talked about how beautiful she looked for her court appearance. She wore a bum-length frontal lace wig that was parted on the side. Her long hair hung across her back and on her side.

The talented gospel singer’s makeup was heavy and highlighted her facial features to perfection. She wore a coloured short-sleeved shirt and a pair of black leather skirt with a cut in the front showing off her fine legs.

She completed her look by wearing a black pair of heel sandals that showed off her beautiful skin and feet.

Others also shared their honest opinions on the love shown to Empress Gifty. While some loved the gesture, others felt it was a bit much for a court appearance.
