Entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has criticized musician cum entrepreneur, Mzbel and her son for making uncouth comments about God which tend to undermine His Supremacy.
According to him, Mzbel’s son is fortunate he attacked the Christian religion because if it were to be the others, their house would have been set on fire by now.
The entertainment pundit blamed Christians for being too liberal and not taking action against Mzbel’s son for his blasphemous comment that has sparked outrage in public.
Arnold chided Mzbel’s son for his beliefs.
“The Bible-believing people are too liberal and we have seen it all over the world. If he [Mzbel’s son] had said this about a different religion, by now their house would be on fire. There would have been a huge protest against them and they wouldn’t have had it easy at all,” he said.
“What shocked me about his comment was when he said ‘By now even God is roaming to look for food somewhere.’ A lot of people hold reverence for the person you are disrespecting in High esteem,” he further stated.
Arnold asserted that he is a child but fortunate for him that no one had attacked them in their home.
“So if you ridicule somebody like that, don’t you expect some level of reaction? He is fortunate. Yes, he is a child, but if it were to be other religions that don’t tolerate some of these things, it would have been a difficult issue by now,” he asserted.
The entertainment pundit’s claims comes after Mzbels’ 10-year-old son stated on social media what he believes in. His claims were vehemently criticized by the general public.
The claims had some supporting him, some revealing that it is a result of how he has been trained from home, whereas others stood firm disclosing that he cannot disrespect their God Almighty in such a manner.
Laying Down A Difference In A Controversial Claim
Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo clearly laid down the difference between Nana Ama McBrown and MzGee when it comes to presenting, stating that McBrown is not in MzGee’s class in regards to hosting a show.
Arnold made his revelation in which he spoke about the output of both ladies as presenters.
As it is in the knowledge of most viewers, entertainment guru Arnold is one of the permanent panelists on United Showbiz.
Hence, he was on the show during the two or three years actress Nana Ama McBrown served as host and has also been on the show for the past year that MzGee has taken over since McBrown’s move to Onua TV.
Comparing the two ladies, Arnold stated flatly that McBrown was not a real television host but was brought in as an actress and taught how to host the show.
Baidoo said although McBrown hosted her show McBrown’s Kitchen prior to being given United Showbiz, she was a novice in terms of hosting an actual entertainment show.
He revealed that to cover her defects, the show initially focused more on personality profiles, music and dance, and other aspects to the detriment of the entertainment discussion part of the show.
Arnold asserted that MzGee came in as a complete professional and on another level.
He disclosed that this is because MzGee has been an entertainment host forever and simply has knowledge about issues that McBrown lacks.
MzGee has won awards that include TV Entertainment Presenter of the Year, and Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards 2020.
