‘December’ captures the essence of the festive season with its jubilant melody and evocative storytelling, showcasing Gyakie’s soothing vocals and musical prowess.

Gyakie delivered a melody that embodies warmth and cheer using her signature style and charm. Her profound lyrics convey a message of companionship and longing, striking a chord with listeners on a deeply emotional level.

‘December’ follows Gyakie’s previous hit release, ‘Rent Free’, further solidifying her reputation as one of Ghana’s most exciting and talented musicians.

With its irresistible charm and undeniable appeal, ‘December’ promises to be yet another musical success for Gyakie.

Moreover, Black Sherif’s ‘Shut Up’ isn’t just a song; it’s a bold declaration against the attitude of pretense that surrounds humans.

From the get-go, Black Sherif’s verses hit like a ton of bricks, unapologetically addressing the fake personas that clutter his world.

It’s a refreshing departure from the lack of depth often found in mainstream tracks. This track marks Black Sherif’s first release of the year 2024, and he’s come out swinging.

Lyrically, ‘Shut Up’ is a masterpiece in raw honesty. Lines like “Hate a man don’t hate the message, Soo many things inside you fi learn it”, cuts through the noise with accuracy, forcing listeners to confront uncomfortable truths.

The hook, “Catch one boy and slap am (Necessary necessary), You are talking a lot oh shut up (Necessary necessary),” is as catchy as it is impactful, driving home the song’s message with relentless force.

What sets Black Sherif apart is his relentless sincerity. He doesn’t mince words or sugarcoat his emotions. Instead, he lays them bare for the world to see, unfiltered and unapologetic.

As ‘Shut Up’ reaches its climax, Black Sherif drives his point home with the resounding refrain, “Eno fi shut ein mouth we help am,” leaving listeners with a persisting sense of empowerment and relief.

In a world where authenticity is often overshadowed by deceit, Black Sherif reminds his listeners that sometimes, the most powerful message is simply to shut up and listen.

Before the official release of Gyakie and Black Sherif’s singles, they teased their fans with snippets on their social media pages.

This increased anticipation for the songs massively, with fans flooding the comments section, expressing their excitement and praising their melody and powerful vocals.

Upon their release, ‘December’ and ‘Shut Up’ did not disappoint and lived up to the expectations of many fans. Netizens have been in a frenzy since the songs dropped.

Chris Tsormanah, a renowned music executive and analyst, showered praise on Gyakie after listening to her new song, ‘December’. Chris was particularly impressed with her vocals.

“Gyakie is undoubtedly one of the best female vocalists we currently have in the country. She proves it every time on each of her projects, and this one is no different. In this song, I particularly liked the melody and how she appealingly delivered a break-up story. Gyakie is doing well in her own right, and I believe her team has also handled her talent very well.”
