Nigerian social media influencer, Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been accused of renting dollars to flaunt on social media, just one day after relocating abroad.
The controversial figure, who recently made headlines for attempting to leave Nigeria amid ongoing legal investigations, posted a photo on Instagram showcasing stacks of U.S. dollars.
However, the post quickly sparked criticism from some followers, who speculated that Bobrisky had rented the money to impress her followers.
The accusation has led to a flurry of reactions online, with many questioning the authenticity of the display.
This incident comes shortly after Bobrisky’s highly publicized move abroad, following a series of legal troubles in Nigeria.
This caused the original video to gain more attention, with people sharing their opinions.

After two failed attempts to leave the country, the controversial crossdresser has left Nigeria.
Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on board a plane before he was recently released by the anti-graft body.
This was shortly after the embattled social media personality was also arrested by Nigerian Immigration after attempting to leave Nigeria through the Seme-border.
However, things took a positive turn for Bobrisky who took to his Instastory to share a video of himself on board what looked like a plane while sharing a screen that hinted at his destination as Amsterdam.
Captioning the video, the self-proclaimed Mummy of Lagos captioned the post, “See u soon Nigeria.”
Bobrisky announced that he left the country temporarily to prioritize his mental and physical well-being.
The crossdresser clarified that his decision was necessary to attend to his “sanity and health” after a series of challenging interactions with security agencies.
“Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily. I need to attend to my sanity and my health.”
