Ghanaian artiste, Bosheba de Shyne, has opened up on his reasons for storming out of an interview session with popular Ghanaian blogger, Sammy Kay.
Earlier in an interview with the blogger, things got heated up between the two after the musician was displeased with his line of questioning.
Sammy Kay was said to have asked the ‘Vanilla’ crooner to ditch the music and focus on other things as according to him, the venture is no longer beneficial to him.
Sammy Kay, the blogger who didn’t see reasons for the singer to continue his music career appeared sentimental while suggesting that the singer is somewhat wasting his time with the music.
But these statements, coupled with his angry tone compelled the singer to storm out of the interview.
Following the incident, Sammy Kay is said to have spoken about the ordeal and narrated his side of the story on a number of platforms.
But opening up on what really ensued, Bosheba has described it as disrespectful and unfair, because from where he stands, his pains and that of others putting and giving their all to see that their craft gets to that desired apogee isn’t appreciated.
Bosheba continued to say that because of his condition as a physically challenged person, the industry sidelines him. He knows this but still won’t give up just yet.
He said the blogger asked him to give up on his passion and leave the music industry for new younger artists who according to him, are making the best out of it.
He stated in an interview saying;
“He started to raise his voice at a point, when I sat with him. He started with gentlemanly:Why do you want to continue to do this music thing? Why don’t you stop and focus on other things because clearly after that hit song you had, nothing seems to be working anymore? I found that offensive and asked if he said those things because of my disability. I walked out because things heated up”.

Having known Bosheba for over a decade now, it is known that his singular focus is what has kept him pushing, and investing in his craft to date.
Bosheba out with new single titled ‘Plus One’
Bosheba de Shyne after clearing the air on Sammy Kay’s disrespect towards him has dropped his latest birthday banger dubbed ‘Plus One’.
The song depicts how grateful he is to God for adding another year to his age and for seeing a brighter and another day.
He calls for celebration and jubilation in the song and tells how strong and how young he still looks.
In the song, he said one should have fun and not wait till the moon dies.
Another latest single of his, titled ‘Redemption song’ seeks to highlight the everyday struggles and at the same time motivates the Ghanaian youth to push harder in their quest for success.
The track which has been touted as a ‘street anthem’ was accompanied by some visuals which capture the ghetto setting.
It tells the story of how a struggling man persisted in the quest to succeed despite being turned down several times.
It also throws the spotlight on how the basic necessities of life such as food and so on are somewhat a luxury to some ghetto youth while encouraging them that everything will be alright.
Other parts of the song capture a call on God to rescue and come to the aid of every struggling Ghanaian.
