Ghanaian singer and songwriter, MzVee, who is a former signee of Lynx Entertainment, has disclosed that she will work with the record label again if they offer her a good deal.
It can be recalled that MzVee terminated her contract with Lynx Entertainment after eight years of being signed to the record label. She also took a break from showbiz to re-energize and sort out her mental health.
In an interview, the ‘Natural Girl’ singer said terminating her contract with the record label does not “terminate her social relationship with them”. According to MzVee, she does not feel offended when people talk about her and the record label. However, she noted that she experienced growth and independence in the musical space after parting ways with the record label.
“It is not annoying or upsetting when people talk about me and my previous record label. I have grown through it all”.
Speaking on her fourth studio album, ‘InVeencible’ album, the singer stated that the album has been very successful and that she received massive endorsements from the public than she expected.
MzVee recounted how a relative narrated when a pastor sang her song, ‘Vanity’, in church. She stated that the narrative informed her that the song has traveled far. According to her, she hopes people are living by its words and inspiration.
‘InVeencible’ album, was released in December 2020 and it featured local and international artists like Sarkodie, Medikal, Falz, Eddy Kenzo, among others.
MzVee is currently promoting her newly released music titled ‘Coming Home’ which features international artist, Tiwa Savage.
‘Home Coming’ is already making waves on musical platforms gaining over 14,000 views on YouTube less than 24 hours before its release.

The singer said during the interview that the song was inspired by marriage processes in the African setting as it is a follow-up song to her 2018 hit song, ‘Come and see my Moda’, featuring Yemi Alade.
MzVee’s ‘Come and see my Moda’ tells her lover to see her mother if he is interested in her.
She explained that since she has informed her man in her song “to come and see her mother, he is now on his way ‘Coming Home’ to do the needful marital rites”.
The Afro-pop singer mentioned that it has been five months since her last release. According to MzVee, her latest release is to “essentially open up the lines of communication with fans, strengthen the fan base and give them [fans] the best”.
Speaking on her collaboration with Tiwaa, MzVee revealed that she made contact with her at an event. She described the Nigerian singer as a “hardworking personality who does not compromise anything for her music, even though she is entertaining”.
“Tiwaa is fun. She does not play with her work”.
Speaking further about her music, MzVee mentioned that her music does not only entertain, but it also informs people and impacts lives positively.
Like her song ‘Natural Girl’ released in 2014, it educated people, especially young girls, to accept themselves and remain authentic regardless of what the majority propagates.
“Sometimes, showing your face on only Tv is not enough. You need to have a face-to-face interaction with these young people to make more impact in their lives”.
The Ghanaian singer revealed that young people needed proper role models to help cushion their life goals and objectives.
MzVee visited the Accra Girls’ Senior High School earlier this year as part of her high school tour to impact the lives of young people who have a passion for music. She recorded songs with some students who were good singers and showcased their talents.
