Renowned Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has attributed her sustained relevance in the entertainment industry over the past 17 years to her unwavering faith and consistent giving.
Speaking during an interaction, Delay shared her “first secret” to longevity in showbiz.
“I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a faithful tither. When I started attending ICGC Open University, it was one thing they knew me for—I tithe religiously. You give to God and God gives back to you.”

She explained that she has made God a “shareholder” in her business ventures, believing that with divine partnership, her endeavours would not fail.
Beyond faith, she emphasized the importance of constant reinvention to stay relevant. “You have to reinvent yourself. Even if you feel uncomfortable fitting in with Gen Z, you must evolve,” she remarked.

She also reflected on her interviewing style, noting a shift over the years.
“I used to ask very hard-hitting questions, but as time goes by, I’m toning it down. If you don’t, you become monotonous, and the audience gets bored.”

Moreover, she recounted her journey in the media industry, highlighting the challenges she faced and the determination that drove her to succeed.
The media personality began her radio career at 17 with Live FM, where she worked for a year and a half before taking a break. She later returned to work with Meridian FM and then Adom FM, where she hosted a program from 12:00 am to 4:00 am without pay, as she wasn’t considered a staff member.
However, her time at Adom FM came to an abrupt end when Fred Nuamah informed her that her services were no longer needed.
Undeterred, she continued to pursue her passion for media. Through her journey, Delay has demonstrated resilience and determination, overcoming numerous challenges to achieve success in the media industry.
Amerado Calls Out Delay

Sensational rapper Amerado Burner called out the media personality for allegedly removing his interview from her YouTube Channel.
In the caption of the post on his X page, Amerado questioned Delay as to why the interview he had with her on her show, The Delay Show, was no longer available on her YouTube Channel.
In the second part of his message, Amerado, who once paraded as the alleged lover of the media personality and showed off their close bond in several videos on social media, wondered whether they were no longer on those terms.
He wondered how they no longer became friends and whether there was an unresolved feud he was not aware of.
“Your interviews with me are no more on your Channel. How did we get here @delayghana?”
Amerado
The ‘Ankonam’ hitmaker shared a video of himself and The Delay Show host seated comfortably in a car, having a good time. Amerado was in the driver’s seat, while she was in the front passenger seat.

In the video, he tried to engage her by asking her whether to give her fans, and she responded by saying no. However, it is not certain where the duo was headed.
People advised Amerado Burner to settle the matter off social media by reaching out to Delay to discuss with her the reason why the interview he had with her on her YouTube Channel had been deleted.
Others also tagged the rapper as immature and lashed out at him in the comment section.
“Hey stop being emotionally immature and call her on phone. Why say it on social media? Shame.”

“At this moment— don’t use her to revive your career! Just apologize to MDK.”
