Contemporary Ghanaian gospel singer, Diana Asamoah has opened up about her perspective on relationships and how she handles advances from men.
The ‘Onyame Tumfo’ hitmaker disclosed that while many men approach her intending to enter her life, she remains resolute in not allowing them to do so, adding that she wants to focus on her ministry as an evangelist and gospel singer.
The renowned gospel music sensation emphasized that she prioritizes her career and her faith, and this focus has allowed her to remain true to her mission and message as a gospel artist.
“So many men approach me and try to come into my life, but I don’t allow them because I want to focus on the work of God. I have been in full-time ministry for a long time,” she stated.
The “Mabo wo din” crooner further emphasized that she is still in full-time ministry despite her involvement in politics specifically as a sympathizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Diana Asamoah’s remarkable achievements in the entertainment industry have made her one of the most celebrated musicians in Ghana.
It can be recalled that rumors spread that the musician sleeps with her fellow woman.
The singer vehemently rubbished that with a quote from the scripture Exodus 23:23. She explained that God warned the Israelites that he would destroy anyone who practices such things, therefore, she would not do that.
The inspirational singer had earlier indicated that she would remain single until the Lord directed her to get married to the right man made for her.
Revealing Of Prepared Campaign Song
Diana Asamoah revealed that she has prepared a campaign song for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2024 general elections.
She mentioned that the song was already completed before the NPP presidential primaries but was waiting for the winner of the elections to add his name to it.
The gospel musician shared that her campaign song is now ready as Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerged as the victor in the NPP primaries, becoming the flagbearer of the party.
Diana Asamoah is known to be affiliated with the NPP and has previously composed campaign songs for the party during President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s tenure.
Diana Asamoah denied claims that she had included Dr. Bawumia’s name in the song before the NPP primaries.
She expressed her strong support for the NPP and emphasized the importance of letting God guide their decisions. She confirmed that she had prepared a campaign song for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP without specifying any names.
Her plan was to use the name of the victorious candidate, which turned out to be Dr. Bawumia.
“If it were you who won, I would have used your name for the song,” she further added.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerged the winner in the NPP Primaries and was officially announced as the party’s flagbearer for the 2024 elections.
The Director of Elections at the Electoral Commission, Dr. Serebour Quaicoe, made the announcement.
According to the official results, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia secured 118,210 votes, representing 61.47% of the total votes cast.
