Entertainment pundit cum artist manager Mr. Logic has said that the ‘liar’ tag imposed on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by some Ghanaians unsettles him and makes his blood boil.
He justified that no one in the world is consistently honest, and the fact that some of Bawumia’s statements do not come to pass does not mean he is a liar, as some Ghanaians perceive.
Mr. Logic went on to admonish Dr. Bawumia to be careful with his utterances and avoid earning names that would dent his image in the political space.
“He [Bawumia] should be careful about some of the things he says because when your statement contradicts what you represent, people start calling you names. Lately, people have been tagging him as a liar. I get very much uncomfortable when I hear Ghanaians calling the Vice President a liar; it is not fair.
“Nobody has ever been 100% honest because of certain technicalities. His role as Vice President is not easy, so when you tag him a lair, It is a huge defamation of his character.”
Mr. Logic
Mr. Logic revealed the political party he supports and why he supported His Excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo.
He stated that he was a strong NDC supporter when the Late Former President Rawlings was in power and left after he [Rawlings] was no more in power.
“I am a strong NDC but after they made Atta-Mills Presidential candidate of the party, I lost interest in the party because I dislike calm and peaceful leaders. I felt Atta Mills was not really about change. He wasn’t a revolutionary. He wasn’t the kind of candidate I saw in President Rawlings. He [Rawlings] was a man of principle.”
Mr. Logic
He noted that he became a supporter of the NPP because of the leadership and not because of the party, adding that he was hopeful that Honorable Kennedy Agyapong could become the flagbearer of the NPP because he [Mr. Logic] shares the same ideology with Kennedy Agyapong.
“Before Nana Addo came, there were a lot of conversations from him. He was very agitative about a change of government. Anytime I see a person fighting for change, I follow that person because I believe people who are agitative about change have something to offer.”
Mr. Logic.
Spare Funny Face The Criticism
Mr. Logic responded to comments made by entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, that Funny Face should face the law for knocking down five people in a drunk driving incident.
According to him, it is very unfortunate for Arnold to make such a remark about the embattled comedian who is known to be battling with mental issues.
He indicated that Ghanaians should rather pray for the comedian to be healed from his mental issues and return to normalcy instead of chastising him for his involvement in controversies.
Mr. Logic stated that Funny Face cannot be entirely blamed for his accident because he is not in full control of his mind.
“Saying Funny Face is ‘fooling too much so he should be jailed’ is very unfortunate. This is because if someone who is detected to be battling with mental issues stabs another person and the case goes to court, the victim will be referred to the hospital for treatment. He will not be jailed.
“We all know Funny Face once went to the psychiatric hospital. This means he is not in full control of himself. So, if you say he is fooling too much, then it means you don’t know his problem but in this case, he [Arnold] is aware. We should rather pray for God to heal him.”
