Some fans of Black Sheriff and Burna Boy have taken to social media to slam Kwaw Kese over a tweet he shared.
Kwaw Kese took to Twitter to ask why Burna Boy isn’t on a tour with Black Sheriff as he had promised earlier.
“Burna promised to take Blacko on tour but he’s on tour performing Blacko songs without him. @Burnaboy you lied ?” Kwaw tweeted.
However, fans of Black Sheriff and Burna Boy who didn’t seem excited about Kwaw’s quest for accountability backlashed the artist for “trying to cause enmity between Burna Boy and Black Sheriff”.
One concerned fan questioned: “Do you know what he meant by ‘I’ll take you on tours with’. Do you know the agreement they had then? Which Ghanaian star has promoted other upcoming artists on an international level like this? Sometimes we should just look at the brighter side of the story bro”.
Another person wrote: “No Ghanaian artist saw his [Black Sheriff] talent from the trenches. Burna put him on the map and you are here talking about something that doesn’t concern you. How I wish Black Sheriff will remain in Nigeria”.
