Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui has recently shared a sad moment from her life where she felt driven to contemplate suicide due to relentless negative comments on social media.
The actress noted that she can boldly attest to the fact that she is one of the most bullied celebrities in Ghana.
Talking about what pushed her to the edge, Fella, who is currently promoting her ‘Resonance’ movie, revealed it messed up her mental health.
Surviving the negative experience, Fella Makafui stated that she decided not to reply to critics who don’t promote her positively.
“So far as you don’t say it that much, it stays where it is. The bad word travels more than the truth. In 2019, I was having a meeting with my manager, and he told me about something that was happening on social media and I almost took my life.
If I tell you today that I don’t come out publicly, that’s it. The trolling effect had to be debunked, I don’t say so much to prove a point. If we are talking about people who get bullied, I am one of them. The moment I say it, it’s gone, so I don’t want to mention it.”

Fella Makafui thanked God for giving her the grace to go through these difficulties.
“I just believe that God blesses us through our hearts. We shouldn’t hate and envy, I move with these three things. I think God is probably blessing me. I don’t think I go to church like that, I think we should do well.”

Fella’s Reaction To ‘Smoking With D-Black’ Controversy
Fella Makafui reacted to the rumors circulating about her visit to rapper D-Black’s club and the aftermath.
The former Yolo star declined to address the issue, insisting that there was nothing to discuss.
Fella maintained a stance of respect and loyalty towards D-Black, whom she considers a brother, and noted that she chose not to focus on the negative energy surrounding the incident.
“Let’s not disrespect D-BLack and his family. I don’t even want to channel my energy into this thing, you know, this whole thing. Because D-Black is like a brother to me. That’s my big brother. Come on, there were thousands of people in the club. I went there with my friends to chill. “

Talking about her husband’s reaction to a video that surfaced from the club, Makafui chose to keep her comments private, stating, “No comments.”
The actress refused to discuss the matter any further, stating, “There are certain issues that I wouldn’t want to talk about, and this is one of them.”
Videos and pictures went viral on social media showing Fella Makafui smoking a cigarette with D-Black.
This did not go well with Medikal, who publicly expressed his displeasure with the act, which he felt was disrespectful.
Despite the ongoing tension, D-Black supported Medikal’s London concert on social media. Medikal, however, responded negatively, labeling D-Black as ‘fake’ and using offensive language, which sparked diverse reactions online.
In the face of the rumors online about Fella Makafui and Medkal’s separation, she [Fella Makafui] noted that contrary to reports, she is still married to Medikal.
Fella responded affirmatively that she was going to be at Medikal’s upcoming O2 Arena concert in London.
She noted that despite their differences, she was ready to support him put Ghana on the map.
According to Fella Makafui, she will go there to support him like she always does at all his shows.
