Dancer and former Dance With Purpose (DWP) Academy member, Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah, also known as Afronitaaa, has rejected speculations that she is now with fellow dancer and mentor Dancegod Lloyd after her exit from DWP Academy.
It could be recalled that Afronitaaa made headlines with her sudden exit from DWP Academy after six years.
Tongues started wagging when she was later spotted in a video dancing with her mentor and former DWP Academy leader, Laud Anoo Konadu, popularly known as Dancegod Lloyd. This led many to speculate that she had joined Dancegod’s new team.
However, Afronitaaa shut down speculations, stating that the videos of them dancing together was just for fun and did not indicate she was on his team.
She indicated that she was now independent as a dancer.
“Dancegod Lloyd remains my role model, so I can always record a video with him. I’m not part of his group. I’m actually on my own now.”

Afronitaaa further opened up on her decision to leave DWP, stating that it was a decision she made because she was given choices. “Yes, I had to choose what God wanted me to do,” she asserted.
She, however, remained grateful for her time spent with DWP Academy, insisting that there was no bad blood between them.
“There is no friction between me and my former group (DWP Academy). It was God’s plan. I’ve been there since I was fourteen, so that’s six years. I had the talents, but they nurtured me.”

A month after her exit, Afronitaaa alongside TV3 Talented Kids winner, Abigail etched their names in history as the first Ghanaian dancers to grace the stage of Britain’s Got Talent.
The dancers’ journey on the international stage was applauded by the majority of Ghanaians as they paved the way for a vibrant future in the world of dance and entertainment in Ghana.

Afronitaaa announced the official date for the inauguration of her new dance academy, Afrostar Kids Academy for children.
The dancer is all geared up to nurture all kids who are dance talents as stars of Ghana’s future.
Due to her passion and love for children, Afronitaaa, revealed that all interested children, including the physically challenged, can join when lessons begin.
“It’s not my first time having to teach or train kids. I’ve had private students who are kids, and I literally have experience with kids, and it’s something I love doing. There’s a team around to help your kids. Even if your child has a disability, they’re welcome to the class. It’s open to every single person.”

Afronitaaa’s dream to start her new dance academy over six years finally came to light in 2023 on her birthday when she posted a wish list on her social media pages.
Her fanbase helped to find a studio for her, which will be unveiled on Sunday, April 14 at FITRIP from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Children between the ages of three (3) and twelve (12) are encouraged to sign up for the dance class by clicking a website link on all her social media platforms.
Afronitaaa promises to help train children who are willing to nurture their talent and pursue their desire for dance.
Beyond her lofty dance ambitions, education has been at the core of Afronitaaa’s development and a feat she takes a lot of pride in expressing due to a preconceived stigma.
Made with lots of energy, and ambition, Afronitaaa’s journey to the upper levels of the dance world is well on course, as she strives to become one of the best and successful female dancers from Ghana.
