Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele has replied to a male troll for body shaming her and her colleague, Toyin Abraham.
The troll had taken to her comment section to advise her to shed weight.
He stated that it’s unwise that she is getting fat yet feeling unbothered. He added that it is more unwise not knowing that fatness isn’t good for an actress of her kind as it would affect her role delivery.
The troll further stated that it is more unwise that many of them (celebrities) think getting fat is evidence of good living, forgetting that obesity kills and causes discomfort.
He admonished her and Toyin Abraham to lose weight as he noted how they had changed shape and signature.
“Hit gym 24hrs. Avoid junk, and limit excess sleeping. Be wise. Don’t be unwise.”

This isn’t the first time Funke has been shamed on social media.
Last year, Funke replied to a Twitter user who advised her to get remarried. The tweep had urged her to get remarried in 2024, pointing out how the filmmaker is getting old, and Funke responded by appreciating him for the advice, noting how he is the wedding planner.
