Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Temilade Openiyi known professionally as Tems has expressed how she feels about Christian beliefs.
Some fans had earlier asked the singer to start making good music and live a godly life that could be worthy of a good impression of her.
However, she lambasted critics who believe she is living a wayward life.
Without mincing words, Tems said she was not ready to be a symbol of Christianity.
The 2022 Soul Train Music Awards’ Best New Artist said she will never fit into that aspect even if she is forced into it.

In a tweet on Tuesday, November 29, the Grammy nominee stressed that if anyone is looking forward to seeing her act in a Christian way to impress people, it can never be possible.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this but I am not your Christian saviour. I didn’t come here to uphold your beliefs about God.
“I will not fit into this box you try to put me in. I won’t satisfy you in that area please find the person that will. Or ask yourself why you care”.
