Actor-turned-politician, John Dumelo has provided chop boxes to help first-year senior high school students in his constituency easily transition into SHS.
On his social media pages, Mr Dumelo shared beautiful pictures of him presenting some chop boxes to parents and others of himself presenting them to the students.
In the caption, the NDC candidate for the constituency noted that on November 9, 2024, he started distributing the chop boxes to the residents of the constituency. “I started distributing chop boxes to my beloved constituents and their wards who gained admission to SHS,” he said.
He noted that each chop box contained small provisions and a small token.
“Each box containes small provisions and also a small token as pocket money. This exercise will continue throughout next week. #idey4u”

Many people in the comment section admired John Dumelo’s campaign in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
They noted that they were hopeful he would win, considering the efforts he had made to prioritize the welfare and safety of the constituents.

John Exposes Man Who Insulted Him on X
Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo publicly exposed a young man who insulted him on X (formerly Twitter) after previously begging him for financial help.
The young man, identified by the handle @GoodCrazy35, had previously messaged actor Dumelo privately, pleading for GH¢100.
The incident occurred after the young man left an unprovoked insult in the comments section of one of Dumelo’s recent posts.
Rather than ignoring the attack, John Dumelo responded by sharing screenshots of their past messages. In these messages, @GoodCrazy35 could be seen repeatedly asking for financial assistance.
His polite requests in private were very different from his rude behavior in public, sparking reactions from social media users.
Many social media users who witnessed the incident bashed @GoodCrazy35 for his behavior and thought that the young man deserved public humiliation.
