Ghanaian actress cum musician and football team manager, Kisa Gbekle has asserted that she hasn’t been sexually active after her pregnancy 4 years ago.
According to her, she does not involve herself in activities like drinking, clubbing, and others, adding that her personality is different from that which is reported by the media.
She said:
“The way I am being perceived out there is not who I am. You could come to my Instagram and be like ‘This girl is so hot, she’s probably like this’. I don’t take alcohol. I’ve never been to a club, so this music thing is always like how am I going to stay in the night because I don’t stay in the night. I don’t have a boyfriend. I am not looking for a boyfriend. I have not had sex ever since I got pregnant”.

She further stated:
“It doesn’t even cross my mind. I am looking for money. I’m a single mother. By the close of this month, my team will be calling me, even if I don’t have money; I have to find money. I will not leave my son in the house because of a man or because of sex.
“If a woman is able to stay without sex during pregnancy, she can stay for life without sex”.

She said:
“It’s an entertainment business. It’s a showbiz. We show you what you want to see. Nobody posts their failures. That’s my brand. I just have to look beautiful”.

Her revelation is in a bid to debunk claims by netizens that a man sponsored the ‘body works’ and for that, he is really enjoying it.
She explained the reason behind her tummy-tuck surgery saying that she did it after her pregnancy because she was not happy with her looks, adding that she does not regret doing it.

She also debunked reports that she slept with men for money in her early years.
According to her, she became sexually active at the age of 16 but wasn’t doing it for money, adding that the comments were taken out of context.
She stated:
“They made it like I started sleeping with men or sleeping around. The guy was a rich kid, it wasn’t that I was sleeping with men to make money and the guy wasn’t above 18. We were both teenagers. I’ve clarified this lots of times”.

She further stated that she would reduce the rate at which she jokes during interviews in order for people to stop misquoting her.
She said:
“I would have a full interview. I would talk about being a manager, having a child, and a whole lot of things. But those things are not carried. But something negative will be carried. Sometimes I make jokes but they are carried out. So now I’m beginning to stop joking, I want to be serious now”.
