The 28-year-old Bright Owusu, popularly known as C Confion, who died on December 20, 2024, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, has finally been laid to rest, on January 11, 2025.
The final funeral rites of the late Kumawood actor, C-Confion is currently happening at Buokrom in the Ashanti Region.
The late Kumawood actor was a strong force under Dr Likee’s wing, thriving among several youngsters, including Kyekyeku and Opoku Bilson.
The Kumawood film community rallied behind the family as they buried their late son.
The late actor’s sudden demise occurred after his long-existing health condition aggravated and got him hospitalized in his final moments.
While alive, C Confion belonged to a clique of proteges under the leadership of Dr Likee, who was considered a father figure.
Dr Likee was one of the superstars arriving at the Buokrom funeral. He led an entourage that comprised Wayoosi and his wife and other youngsters, including Kyekyeku and Sobolo.
The late actor’s parents clung to Dr Likee, crying as he made his way to greet family members before taking his seat.
Several other actors, including Yaw Dabo, Kwaku Manu, Apostle John Prah, Vivian Jill, and director Samuel Nyamekye, founder of Miracle Films, were all spotted in the VIP section.
Ghanaians mourned C Confion.

Moreover, at the venue of the late actors’ burial ceremony, the camera captured how Lil Win drew massive attention after arriving at the funeral grounds.
A set of people who had attended the funeral left their seats to go and hug the award-winning actor.
It can be recalled that when C-Confion died, Lil Win took to his Instagram page to weep with the bereaved family.
The two featured in a lot of comedy skits before Confion’s untimely demise.
Wayoosi Performs C Confion’s Favorite Song at Funeral
Actor Wayoosi who used to be a close friend to the late actor took over the microphone at the funeral to perform for the sympathizers who had come for the funeral.
During his performance, he performed a song he disclosed was one of C Confion’s favorite songs, stating emphatically that it would be right for him to perform it as he departs from this world.
A candle night event was held yesterday, Friday, January 10, 2025, around RichCity Rooftop Restaurant and Lounge and honor the late C Confion in Memorium.
Wayoosi, Dr Likee, Kyekyeku, 39/40, Shifo, Gunshot GH, and others were spotted at the public lounge.
Moreover, the camera captured the constant weeping of his [late C Confion’s] girlfriend who had been with him throughout all his struggling period.
The cries of her girlfriend even got some people to join and comfort her urging her not to worry but she was too emotional to stop crying despite all the pleas from sympathizers to stop.
