Award-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o who resides in the United States has paid tribute to her fellow actor, Chadwick Boseman.
Lupita, the 2014 BET Award winner of best actress, took to social media to mark the 46th birthday of the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, with a standing-out message.
After Boseman’s death in 2020, the Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts was established. Lupita urged fans to contribute to the late actor’s new charity as a remembrance of the great work he did in the acting world.

“The legacy continues. Join me in honoring Chadwick and his everlasting artistry on his birthday today, and if you can, give to the Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts to support the intellectual, spiritual, and artistic growth of Black storytellers”.

Chadwick Boseman is best known for his role in Black Panther in the successful Marvel superhero franchise.
According to a social media statement that was shared after his death, the actor passed away at home in Los Angeles, with his wife and family by his side.
Boseman who died at the age of 43 was diagnosed with colon cancer four years before his death but did not disclose the diagnosis.

Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther co-stars say Wakanda Forever is dedicated to honoring his legacy.
The US actor, who played heroic crime-fighting king T’Challa, died of cancer in 2020, aged 43.
Co-stars Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, and Lupita Nyong’o say they are still processing his untimely death.
But Danai, who plays Okoye, says it is the cast’s “hope and prayer” that the sequel’s attempt to honor him “is felt by the audience”.

“In some scenes, you want to break down and cry. Grief is still there that’s one of the things about this project that’s been one of the hardest, you can’t run from it.
“We walked through it together and we just made sure that every line and scene was dedicated to him. I knew he was listening”.

Speaking in an interview, the trio also discussed returning to set after Covid lockdowns, filming underwater, and inspiring change in Hollywood.
‘Wakanda Forever’ returns to the fictional African country with incredibly advanced technology.

“We have a predominantly female-led film. We already did something like that with the first Black Panther but now in the absence of T’Challa, the women have taken the fore in a remarkable way.
“That this film is as big as it is with that feminist agenda is so cool.”
