Joseph Gamor popularly known by his stage name Lyrical Joe, a Ghanaian rapper, has narrated how he created a banger with Kuami Eugene titled ‘Enter’.

The song which is currently making waves across social media and getting massive airplay on radio was not initially planned according to the award-winning musician.

“This song was pure motivation and we recorded it in the later part of December and so if we had recorded it earlier we would have released it in December,” he disclosed.

“I gave Kuami Eugene a song that I wanted us to do a remix but he called to inform me that he would like us to work on something different,” he further added.

He noted that he put his verses together and they both worked on it together.

“I was open-minded for it so we decided to work on it and we spoke to put everything in the right direction and he put together the whole production and everything. So when I got to his studio, I just had to go and put my verses in there and add my touches to it and that’s when we cooked the magic,” he disclosed.

Lyrical Joe disclosed that he and Kwame Eugene flew to South Africa for the video shooting for the ‘Enter’ song, adding that they wanted a different environment for the video and how the video should look.

The rapper stated that the video will soon come out, assuring that the video is a banger as compared to the song.

“We had ladies in South Africa to feature in the song because booking tickets to fly ladies from Ghana was expensive. We, artists, don’t know the ladies we shoot the videos with because there is a set manager who does that. Personally, we don’t know them. It’s all about business,” he noted.

The track, a seamless blend of the rapper’s lyrical prowess and Kuami Eugene’s melodic vocals is making waves among music enthusiasts.

The new track effortlessly showcases Lyrical Joe and the ‘Monica’ hitmaker’s versatility as top artists, blending elements of hip-hop, Amapiano, and afrobeat, to create a truly captivating and head-nodding track.

Channeling Cash Spent On Football To Ghanaian Musicians

Award-winning Rapper, Lyrical Joe stated that Ghanaian artists can make a lot of impact globally if the same amount spent on football is invested in music.

According to him, people are more affected because the money that could be used for beneficial purposes is channeled to football, and at the end of the day they lose.

“Of course, we can win the Grammys and make more impact with that kind of resources and it’s evident not like anyone is lying or anything else. The amount that is spent by the government on football to sponsor all these things, the same amount is not spent by the government on music,” he said.

“Maybe the musicians themselves spend that amount on their music but the government doesn’t spend that colossal amount on us. That’s why people really get hurt or the country will be affected when we lose in a competition like that because this money is not child’s play money,” he noted.

The rapper asserted that he had no hopes that Black Stars were going to qualify for the next stage at the AFCON, adding that Black Stars are one-goal winners.

Speaking on the last football match which Ghana and Mozambique drew, he explained that people were disappointed because much hope was channeled into it.
