Nobody Handed Fame To Me So, They Can’t Take It- Angry Delay Sends Strong Warning

Deloris Frimpong Manso

Media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, known to be Delay, has declared that her brand is solid and her fame is untouchable.

Delay revealed in an interview that she has worked her way through the media to the point where she is at the moment.

According to her, God has been her only help, no man or woman handed fame to her but past struggles have led her to where she is today.

The Show Host said that she started radio presenting when she was 17 years old and it was the help of her mom. Her mom introduced her to one radio presenter saying Delay was a good speaker.

She continued that it was not a smooth journey because she went off track a couple of times but got back on course.

Delay disclosed that she purposely chased her brand and when she came to Accra, she saw that there was too much competition in the media among English-speaking presenters, so she then decided to be different and that is why she has survived to date.

“Some people still ask whether the Delay products are mine. I understand them because how can it be mine if not God? It’s like a dream. It’s like a story that doesn’t add up for many people. It was just a few years ago I started”.

“Only God can dim my light”, she said. In other words, only God can take her fame because she worked hard for it, and she “earned it by merit!”

Delay counts her blessings

Furthermore, Delay expressed that selecting a car from her garage on daily basis for her daily rounds has been one of her challenges.

The popular media personality cited it as a ‘problem for the rich and said that the situation should be the kind of ‘headache’ people should yearn for.

“I say that my biggest headache sometimes is not knowing which car to use. That is the kind of problem you want to have in life. When you are going out and you don’t know which car to drive”, Delay said counting her blessings while addressing the youth at a conference.

“It wasn’t handed to me on a silver platter. I didn’t get any rich man to sponsor me to help me get to this stage. I worked from the ground up. I started Delay sardine with just a container. By God’s grace, I am able to import about seven to eight containers. You can see the products all over in town, right?”

Delay

According to Delay Foods’ founder, to date, people still doubt that she owns such merchandise. Such people, she understands their misbeliefs but the fact that she has become an accomplished entrepreneur and media personality.
