Ghanaian hip life artiste, Quamina MP, also known as Emmanuel Ato Quamina, has reportedly lost his father in a fatal accident on the Akosombo road in the Eastern Region.
Details about the accident are sketchy, but videos that have since gone viral captured his saloon car damaged beyond repairs. Also, video from the scene fast circulating online spotted the musician squatting at the scene. In the video, the ‘ground-up chale’ member tried to endure the pain as he walked away from the witnesses.
Meanwhile, reports show that the musician survived unhurt, except for some trauma he is experiencing since his father, who was traveling with him was in critical condition. Unfortunately, his father did not survive and lost his life.
The accident has gained nationwide attention and his latest tweet hours before the crash has gotten everyone talking. Quamina MP admonished his many followers to grab every opportunity to be happy and celebrate life.
Barely eight hours after his emotional tweet, Quamina MP’s life flashed before his very own eyes, bringing some sagacity into his message.
He has become one of the many entertainers to be involved in an accident; earlier this year ‘YOLO’ star John Peasah, popularly known as Bra Charles was also involved in an accident.
Several celebrities have been involved in fatal accidents but for divine intervention, they would have lost their lives.
The rapper, songwriter, and producer, Elom Adablah who is better known as EL was involved in a car crash on the 21st of May 2020 but he survived without sustaining any injuries. The rapper’s yellow Chevrolet Camaro was involved in multiple collisions but sustained little to no damages. The car crash happened just around the University of Ghana, Okponglo Junction.
Noted for his brilliant acting skills, award-winning actor Prince David Osei revealed he nearly died in a car crash as he thanked God for his life on the 2nd of June 2020. According to the actor, he came out ‘unscratched’ after facing a ‘very fatal accident’ on a busy highway. Narrating the incident, the actor said:
“Front tire of the car got burst and I was maneuvering the car on the busy highway, finally I hit the pavement that divides the road, as to how the car came to a halt I don’t know, my life was flashing through my face.”
Ghanaian comic actor Richmond Xavier Amoakoh, popularly known as Lawyer Nti revealed he also survived a car crash barely a day after David Osei gave his testimony. He also thanked God for life but failed to give an account of what happened, leading to the crash.
