Funny Face and his mother

Ghanaian comedian Funny Face, in the quest to restructure his life, has taken a step to make amends with people in his life that matter.

After he was granted bail and a second chance at life, the comedian has taken a step to visit the people who were most affected by his accident ordeal.

As the prodigal son, he first visited his mother, knelt before her, and pleaded for forgiveness.

“I know I have caused you a lot of pain. I know you have been devastated by the news and the incident that happened lately. Please forgive me. You said a certain prayer for me before I became Funny Face. I want you to say that same prayer for me again.”

His mother, who became teary, hugged and comforted him.

The comic actor, his mother, and some family members then moved on to the accident victims.

He went to apologize to the victims for causing them pain and went ahead to donate some money to them to help them pay off their medical bills.

Recall that Funny Face, upon thorough reflection, admitted to being a nuisance to Ghanaians. In that regard, he pleaded for forgiveness and the chance to restore the broken trust, adding that although his actions were not deliberate, he has taken sole responsibility for them and will, henceforth, take gradual steps towards becoming a better person.

He visited the older woman who was knocked down together with two kids on the day of the incident.

The woman, still on admission at the hospital, received Funny Face and his entourage. He knelt before her and pleaded for forgiveness while explaining his side of the story.

Before Funny Face’s visit, it’s worth noting that he had covered all her hospital expenses, along with those of other victims, during his time in prison.

Family Of Accident Victims Make A Disclosure

The family of the two kids that were hit by Funny Face’s vehicle disclosed a ploy by some persons to ‘bring down’ the comedian.

They disclosed that they have been receiving calls from some individuals not to back down in ensuring that the comedian is jailed.

Funny Face received this information upon his visit to the Central Region to spend some time with the two kids who were knocked down by his vehicle.

Halfway through their conversation, one of the family members disclosed that they had been encountering people seeking to ensure the comedian spent a long time in prison.

“People are seeking for Funny Face’s downfall. We have been receiving calls from persons, radio, and TV stations asking us to take this up and I have been shocked at how people want to destroy him.

“The pressure from some people asking us to bring Funny Face down is not easy. Please share this video. I want the television stations and radio stations to know that I’m the Nana Akomea they have been speaking to.”

Mr. Akomea

However, the family who had withstood the pressure from Funny Face’s detractors the entire period, stated that they do not intend to do their bidding.

The family believes that Funny Face is going through a lot in his life and what he needs is compassion and support.

“I don’t think that is needed. I believe that what he needs now is to seek the face of God in his life and become a better person,” he added.

After hearing the disclosure, Funny Face visibly moved, and struggled to find words but managed to express gratitude to the family for their support.

In a gesture of appreciation, he then offered them some items and money, despite already covering the hospital bills.
