Veteran Musician, Rex Omar has revealed that Ghanaians will be disappointed if President John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) fail to recover looted funds, lands, and properties.
In the lead-up to the December 7 elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) vowed to implement Operation Recover All Loots from President Akufo-Addo’s appointees.
“We can’t continue like that because we saw naked thievery of state funds, lands, and properties and we cannot disappoint Ghanaians. There are so many scandals under Akufo-Addo that we can’t afford to let go free, like Cecilia Dapaah’s stolen money, which the President has cleared.”

According to him, they [members of the NDC party] need to find out what happened in President Akufo-Addo’s governance because “they can’t do it as a business.” “As usual to create the impression that every government comes to steal and waste public funds and go scot-free,” he added.
The veteran musician stated that Ghanaians are requesting the recovery of looted lands in the country.
“It is Ghanaians that are asking for Operation Recover All Loots to happen and it will happen otherwise there will not be justification for the power given to us.”

The Ghanaian musician also called for the investigation and prosecution of President Akufo-Addo’s daughter, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo under the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) initiative.
The astute politician allegedly said that Gyankroma Akufo-Addo who was the Board Member of the Creative Arts Council needs to be questioned about certain scandals.
“When I look at the creative arts industry the outgoing President Akufo-Addo in the first place gave 58 million dollars to her daughter Gyankroma Akufo-Addo.
“Akufo-Addo’s daughter was given the money and her cronies to help buy about 307 ambulances for the country and I want that particular scandal to be investigated thoroughly.”

According to Rex Omar, President Akufo-Addo’s daughter was given an amount of money to buy spare parts for the ambulance.
“Besides, that same daughter Gyankroma was given a 34.9 million dollar contract to buy spare parts for the ambulances she had bought earlier. And that money which is a huge sum could have been used to buy more ambulances for the country but she was given the money to buy spare parts.
“That is one of the several scandalous lootings of the country’s wealth that I’m looking forward to seeing being investigated under Operation Recover All Loots.”

Rex Urges Patience Amid Mahama’s Appointment
Rex Owusu Marfo, the founder and leader of AriseGhana, called for patience as President-elect John Mahama faces mounting pressure to make key appointments following his victory in the December 7 elections.
Marfo, popularly known as Rex Omar, warned against the temptation to rush appointments that may not benefit the country.
He acknowledged the large number of people lobbying for positions but reminded listeners that it was impossible to satisfy everyone. “Over 6 million people voted for President Mahama, and there’s no way all of them can be given an appointment,” Marfo said.
He emphasized that the President-elect must be allowed to make selections based on what is best for the nation’s future, without undue pressure from various factions.
Marfo stressed the importance of trusting Mahama’s leadership and judgment, highlighting that the President’s decisions should be guided by the wisdom of his advisors and the needs of the country.
“The onus lies on him, so we should not pressurize the President or push him to make appointments that will not help us achieve what we promised Ghanaians.”
