Dancehall artiste and CEO of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale has returned on social media and has shown off his brand-new white Rolls Royce.
The artist posted on his Instagram story feed a video of himself cruising in the white Rolls Royce. He is seen in the video all dressed up and saying “my new ‘whip’ everybody”.
This marks his return to social media after announcing last month that he will be going off for a while. In returning, Shatta Wale has deleted all his old photos and videos from his Instagram page. Currently, he has posted three flyers with the inscription “Hylyf”.

That notwithstanding, his fans who have been waiting for his return reacted to his post. Most of them were taken by surprise as they weren’t expecting his return to social media anytime soon. Shatta wins award at the IRAWMA
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale keeps proving to Ghana and the world at large why he claims to be the ‘Dancehall King’. At the just-ended International Reggae And World Music Award in Jamaica, Shatta Wale was adjudged the ‘Best Virtual Entertainer’.
It can be recalled that The Vaultz Media (TVM) reported that Shatta Wale and some other Ghanaian entertainment personalities earned nominations for the IRAWMA.
The show which was put together virtually by Martins International was held on Sunday, 16 May 2021, with Gramps Morgan and D’angel as hosts for the night. The show was broadcasted freely on IRAWMA’s channel and other popular media channels for fans and viewers to watch.
Shatta Wale was the only Ghanaian competing with top Jamaican artists such;as Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, Capleton, and Beenieman in that particular category.
Faith concert helps Shatta win award
It is worth mentioning that his ‘Faith Concert’ was key to his win as;over 150,000 fans worldwide tuned in to watch the virtual concert during the lockdown period. According to Shatta Wale, he organized the show to bring “hope and love to the people of the world when the whole world was on lockdown”.
Faith Concert was hosted in his residence at East Legon and broadcasted freely on his YouTube channel. He performed over an hour with a live band. Shatta Wale winning this award means a bragging right for his Shatta Movement fans. They are sure to celebrate this victory on social media, as they debate;on who the best dancehall artist in Ghana is.
Meanwhile apart from Shatta Wale winning, Ghana’s youngest Disc Jockey, DJ Switch, and Kwame Yeboah also won an award. DJ Switch won in the ‘Best young entertainer’ category as Kwame Yeboah won the ‘Best instrumentalist’ category. Also,. Also
However, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy weren’t able to pick up awards for the various category they were nominated in.
