Shatta Wale Reveals Sarkodie’s Songs Do Not Make Sense

Sarkodie and Shatta Wale

Controversial Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale has stated that Sarkodie’s rap does not make sense.

Shatta Wale was addressing the issue of comparing him to Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, stating that he dislikes it when Ghanaians compare him to them.

Shatta Wale linked a comparison between him and Stonebwoy and Sarkodie to a comparison between students in primary 4 to those in Junior High School 3, saying that he hates it when he is compared to his juniors; Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

“And the people you are comparing me to, it is like I dey JHS 3 and you dey compare me to class 4 and it is stupid. Somebody will ask why is Shatta Wale talking like this. Why am I talking like this? Why do you even have to compare Stonebwoy to me? why do you compare Sarkodie to me? I came out 2004 when Sarkodie used to call me and tell me that he wants a producer, I was a star before Sarkodie and Stonebwoy,” Shatta Wale angrily said.

He further added that Ghanaians used to compare him to Samini, which to some extent, he had no problem with but Samini is out of the system and as a good musician, he is still in the game releasing hit after hit so Ghanaians have no option but to compare him to his juniors; Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

“I came out before all those your last champions. Sarkodie and Stonebwoy them be your last champions wey you catch. You people, take me to compare Samini and others, all of them dey go right now ebi Sarkodie and Stonebwoy wey you guys get. Dem bi your last batch, dem bi your last batch you get it,” he stated.

Talking about Sarkodie, Shatta Wale revealed that his [Sarkodie’s] rap does not make any sense.

According to the dancehall musician, he has listened to many songs that relate to the life of an individual, especially a person from the streets.

Comparing Sarkodie’s songs to a song that according to him he chanced on Tiktok, Shatta Wale disclosed that Sarkodie’s songs do not make any sense.

Shatta Wale is of the view that the rapper focuses more on speaking fast, but the truth is, nobody hears what Sarkodie says in his songs.

He noted that the few songs by the rapper that could be heard by listeners and Ghanaians, do not relate to anything.
