Ghanaian rapper, Osei Kwaku Vincent popularly known in the showbiz circle as Strongman, has asserted that he has never initiated any ‘beefs’ with anyone in the music industry.
His statement debunked online allegations that he was only popular because he was usually involved in ‘beefs’ with other celebrities.
He discredited the rumors and stated that he was not to be blamed for those instances.
“I don’t trend on ‘beefs’ because I don’t throw first shots. I only do replies.” The rapper explained.
He added that the reason he even replies is because he needs to put people in the right place.
Comparing ‘beef’ scenarios to insurance principals, he stated that he needed to give them a taste of their own medicine.
“We have a warranty in insurance principles, which talks about you restoring a person to their former position. If someone insures a Range Rover and it catches fire, the insurance company is supposed to compensate the person with a Range Rover, not with an Elantra. So if you come and fool, I need to tell you that no matter what you’re doing, you need to stop.”

Strongman reiterated that he didn’t start ‘beefs’ but he for sure knew how to finish them.
“I don’t start the ‘beefs’. So any ‘beef’ that you see me being involved in, I didn’t start it. The people started it, and I helped them finish it.” he said.
Also, the award-winning rapper shared his remorse for involving Medikal’s ex-wife Fella Makafui in his ‘beef’ with the rapper sometime back.
Strongman in his self-reproach mood noted that it was inappropriate on his path to have done such a thing when the actress had nothing to do with their showbiz fight.
“I always want the beef to be just me and the artiste. I only replied because Medikal brought in my wife but deep down I was not happy with it because insulting an innocent woman who was not part of it, I did not like to involve Fella in this whole issue because Fella is innocent, she is not part of the beef.
“So, I think rappers should take this seriously. Its me and you, face me and I face you. Our moms and dads and families are not part. If you are a man like me face me and I face you.”

Disbelief in Praying in Tongues

Strongman disclosed that he does not believe in praying in different tongues.
He stated that he has a good relationship with his Maker and that he does pray, but not in tongues.
“I do pray a lot. I’m just not a frequent churchgoer, but I pray a lot. I have never prayed in tongues before. Honestly, I don’t believe in it that much.”
Stongman
According to him, it will be weird for him to pray in a language if he doesn’t understand what he is saying.
The rapper, however, stated that he is not trying to discourage anyone from doing what they believe in and that it is just his beliefs because it doesn’t work for him.
“I just say it how I’m supposed to say it: ‘God, I’m going to Accra. Help me to reach safely’ and that’s it, I’m done,” he said.
Strongman recounted some sacrifices he made to contribute to the success of his hit track ‘Transformer’.
The rapper disclosed that he had to sacrifice for three days and seek the face of God before the release of his song ‘Transformer’ in 2017.
According to him, he embarked on the spiritual journey because it was his debut release while he was signed to SarkCess and wanted the song to be a blockbuster.
“When I was about to release ‘Transformer’, I fasted for three days before. From 6 am to 6 pm. It wasn’t easy. Aside from ‘Transformer’, I don’t remember fasting for any song. After the fasting, we just released it and as soon as we dropped it, it was everywhere, the fasting worked.”

However, he noted that he has since not been engaged in any fasting before a song release because the earlier one “was not easy.”
He stated that he prays and commits his work to God having faith and believing in God’s manifestation.
Strongman has unveiled his latest EP, ‘God & Rap”, a captivating masterpiece spanning seven tracks that features talented artists like King Paluta, Kweku Darlington, Dope Nation, and Sevenkizs demonstrating his versatility as a rapper.
Strongman is considered one of the best rappers in the country.
