Popular Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has strongly criticized singer and music executive, Naira Marley, over his recent statement regarding the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
Recall that Naira Marley finally broke his silence on Mohbad’s death on Friday, days after posting a heartbreak emoji on his Instastory in response to the tragic news.
In his post, he raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the singer’s death, inquiring about the events leading up to his demise, the ailment he was diagnosed with before receiving an injection, and why an autopsy was not performed after his passing.
This clearly didn’t sit well with Tonto, and she took to her Instagram to criticize him for his questions, even though he had been repeatedly called out by the deceased singer for sending people to allegedly harass and assault him.
Recall that before Mohbad’s death, he had stated that Naira Marley should be held responsible if anything happened to him.
In light of this, Tonto Dikeh lambasted Naira Marley for claiming innocence when he was not complicit0 in the case. She also scolded him for attempting to deceive her and other Nigerians.
Her words:
“Is Naira Marley playing with us? What the fuck is that letter you posted? Who are you asking questions? Where is Larry Sam you sent to frustrate Mohbad with cutlazz(and people were thinking it’s cane…Look well)… I will suggest You better SHUT UP(you look prettier with your mouth closed anyway) and keep dancing on Snapchat while we seek justice… The last thing you will want to do is TAKE (US) MOHBAD’s FANs FOR A FOOL”.

Nigerians Sign Petition To Ban Music Of Naira Marley

Some fans of the late Mohbad have signed a petition to ban ‘Marlian Music Label’ over the death of Mohbad. The petition to ban Marlian Music Label has garnered over 50,000 signatures.
The petition was launched following the death of former Marlian Music signee, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba also known as Mohbad, who died on Tuesday, September 12.
The talented singer died a year after his controversial split from the Naira Marley-owned record label due to an internal dispute and allegations of assault. The police revealed that they are investigating Mohbad’s demise.
However, irate fans have started signing a petition to ban the late singer’s former record label, Marlian Music.
Meanwhile, the relatives of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, were captured on camera discussing how to collect his assets from his wife, Wunmi, at his gravesite.
Recall that the singer’s sadly passing away was laid to rest barely 24 hours later in Ikorodu, Lagos state, according to Islamic rites. When his grave was being dug, some of his relatives were captured plotting how to claim his properties from his 24-year-old widow.
During their discussion, one of the men asked for the whereabouts of Mohbad’s wife and said she must ‘drop everything’. In response, a man asserted that she should not come for the funeral because they would collect everything belonging to the singer in her possession.
An elderly man present at the scene added that there are children who earn millions of naira but fails to send money back home. He also warned the men gathered at the gravesite not to put their faith in women.
Another man was heard bemoaning where the singer was being buried, stating that the singer who has mansions is getting laid to rest in a village.
It’s worth noting that Mohbad’s marriage to his wife was not made public until his untimely death. The musician was apparently married to his 10-year partner, with whom he has a 5-month-old son.
This has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the family for discussing the singer’s properties barely 24 hours after his death.
