Kumawood actress Tracey Boakye has rendered an apology to the Member of Parliament of Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, for the insults she flung at him.
The actress who was in a recent banter with Kennedy Agyapong, took to her Instagram page and apologized to Kennedy Agyapong for the “harsh and disrespectful” words she used on him. This apology comes after Kennedy Ayapong, in a recent interview on Asase Radio, indicated that some of his comments made about her was just a joke and that should not, be taken to heart. He said:
“Sometimes, if you are not strong you fail. So whatever happens to any man, me I don’t use it…like you know I was in Akyinase and joking about Mahama…and Tracy Boakye took it so seriously and all those things”.
Nonetheless, after seeing the video of Kennedy Agyapong’s interview, Tracey Boakye took to her Instagram page, to express her regret over the insults she rained on the MP whom, she described as ‘father to me’. She also went on to mention that everything she had acquired in life, was not sponsored by any politician since ‘her man’ in question is no politician.
“JOKING??? Really??? Ok, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, I beg you not to joke with such issues again, especially during an election period, No Politician has bought any house nor cars for me, My Man is not a politician. I AM ALSO SORRY FOR THE HARSH AND DISRESPECTFUL WORDS I USED FOR YOU, you’re like a father to me, and I’m your daughter. SO SORRY, and please such jokes are too expensive. THANK YOU”.
Kennedy Agyapong and Tracey Boakye recently engaged in a war of words after the politician used the name of the actress at a rally. It will be recalled, that Tracey Boakye and Mzbel engaged in a banter on social media which drew the name of NDC flag bearer John Mahama in the mud.
Speaking at a recent NPP rally, Ken Agyapong made reference to the scandal which came to be known as ‘Papa No saga’. Addressing swarming NPP supporters, Ken Agyapong indicated that Mahama was the ‘Papa No’ that Tracey and Mzbel were fighting over.
He further claimed that John Mahama bought a $450,000 mansion for Tracey Boakye adding that the former president has also been flying ladies to Dubai every weekend to chill and Tracey is one of those ladies. He then said the former president has been sponsoring the actress who has been flaunting her wealth on social media.
Nevertheless in a quick response, Tracey Boakye went live on social media, after reports of Kennedy Agyapong’s claims surfaced to counter him.
Shortly after, Ken Agyapong also went on his NET2 TV to insult Boakye and even equated her to a sheep. The actress later came back with more rancor, to rain obscene insults on the MP while calling him impotent.
