Celebrity photographer duo, TwinsDntBeg has explained its relationship with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The celebrity photographers noted that they were more convinced to support the NPP for the upcoming elections after listening to Dr. Bawumia.
“Our father was one of the executives for the NPP in Oforikrom. If you travel a lot, you’d know what H.E. the Vice President is trying to do for Ghana,” they said.
They cited achievements like the Ghana Card [and] digitalization, among others, arguing that if one should understand his [Dr. Bawunia’s] vision, they’ll know this is the current direction Ghana needs.
TwinsDntBeg highlighted the ease and convenience of the “cashless economy” of nations abroad, giving the impression such is their hope for Ghana with the leadership of the economist Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
“I’ve stayed in the UK for almost two years, and I never held a pound or pence – it’s all on a card. Transportation, networking, and a whole lot,” one said.
TwinsDntBeg categorically declared belief in Dr. Bawumia’s vision and believes his vision will move Ghana to the next level.
They clarified their passionate and enduring support for Dr Bawumia was not borne out of their lucrative professional relationship with his party, beginning with photographing his wife Samira Bawumia.
“I believe in his vision, and I believe he’s going to be an amazing President. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a very hardworking man, he thinks about Ghana so much, and that’s why we support him.”

Rise To Fame
In seeking to use their lives as an inspiring example, TwinsDntBeg clarified how they rose to fame as a photography brand.
They became the official photographers for the wife of the Vice President of Ghana, Samira Bawumia.
“10 years ago, we struggled to even buy food. We didn’t know our path in life,” they said.
Confessing, they noted that they dedicated themselves earnestly to “serving”.
They named prominent people they had served, including Nana Boakye, and Fati Abubakar, among others.
Per their observation, TwinsDntBeg mentioned that some of the people they served didn’t know they would be great but they had a dream and a purpose and were serving under them.
“We were serving regardless of whatever we were going to get from them,” the twins stressed.
Relishing the wonder of it all, TwinsDntBeg said: “Fast forward 14 years later, Fati Abubakar is the Minister for Information – and I can call her right now on the phone and she’ll pick up – there are a whole lot of other influential people I can name.”
The celebrity photographers noted that they now enjoy friendship and access to people of repute.
They revealed they finished school in 2014 and started their photography work in 2015.
They recalled Fati Abubakar mentioning the then impending 2016 elections, her point where they could leverage their influence and social media skills and work for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“She suggested we wrote a proposal to the party because the current second lady, H.E. Samira Bawumia needed someone to handle her social media. Mrs. Bawumia was going to be used as a tool to draw in the youth in 2016 after the defeat in 2012.”

They explained it was Ms Abubakar who received the proposal and sent it to Mrs. Bawumia after which they met. “This is where it has brought us since that time somewhere in 2014, 2015,” they further added.
Also, networking with multiple renowned personalities at events, taking pictures of them, asking for their numbers, and sending the pictures to them that very night, also helped them.
“The celebrities, upon receiving the pictures, would post them on social media, and tag us, after which we would also post it. This helped us gain more attention,” they said.
Soon, they observed, people, newspapers, and blogs, among others, were talking about the photography brand TwinsDntBeg, exposing their name even though they were working for free.
