Ghana’s ‘new school’ rappers, Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick and Amerado have debuted on the Tim Westwood freestyle section as they performed a stellar radio freestyle.
Taking it in turns to rap over a variety of different instrumentals, the Ghanaian artists represented Ghana as they showcased their versatility, freestyle skills and their showmanship using both local and foreign language.
Impressing Tim with their skills, the artists stayed consistent with their delivery and offered listeners and viewers a commendable performance that is much remembered.
When the video of their performance hit social media, Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick and Ameerado have sincebecome the number one trending topic in Ghana. Several netizens who are impressed with their performance have taken to the microblogging app, Twitter, to react and share their views.
Ghanaian rapper, Medikal who was particularly awe-struck by Yaw Tog’s performance wrote: “Yaw Tog is unique and Hard!!!”

Well, it is worth noting that the Tim Westwood freestyle radio section has hosted several top-notch artists all over the world. Ghana’s own ace rapper Sarkodie, Medikal and Kwesi Arthur are just but a few artists who have been featured on the international show.
