Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has lambasted media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, for dragging her online about her apology to May Edochie.
Recall that Yvonne Jegede’s statement about Yul Edochie’s polygamist nature sparked outrage amongst the fans of the actor’s first wife and women who found her comments offensive.
Following the backlash that trolled the explosive sit-and-talk show, Jegede apologized to her fans and May Edochie, whom many believed was incited.
However, this apology did not sit well with Nedu, who criticized the actress for not owning up to her words and apologizing.
While responding to Nedu, Yvonne Jegede revealed how small-minded people like him like to rejoice when women attack each other or are trampled upon.
“I woke up to see Nedu’s post reacting to my appearance on the podcast, particularly my apology to May Edochie and women in general. I understand Nedu’s difficulty in comprehending my apology. Narcissistic and toxic men like him cannot grasp the importance of apologizing when others feel hurt by your actions, regardless of whether you believe you are right or wrong.
“Check the history of your podcast; it is filled with content targeting women’s self-esteem. Perhaps the rumor about you is true, you don’t like women! Nedu, there’s nothing wrong with women winning and shining; it doesn’t diminish you or any other man.”

She called out his evil nature and the difficulty he has comprehending the need for her apology, which seemed to be motivated by the need to appease May Edochie and the women who felt offended by the podcast, even when she was not trying to shame them.
“You are so evil that you didn’t even promote “A Father’s Love,” the movie I came to discuss on your show. I was raised to apologize if I was wrong and to those who felt hurt by my actions.”

She further stated that he [Nedu] should take all the money he wants from Facebook and YouTube, adding that posterity will always judge those who stand against women and profit at the expense of others.
Yvonne also spilled about the times the show host and content creator was always in her DM, telling her how much he liked her and also requesting that she hang out with him.
“A small-minded man like you will never understand the need for an apology, even when he is wrong. By the way, you asked that I take you out. When I get back in town, we can still do it, but be prepared to man up, take responsibility, and pay your bills. I always pay mine and never beg for anyone to take me out!”

While urging her to desist from name-calling him, Nedu disclosed that Yvonne was the one who reached out to their team to publicize her new movie.
“We would also like to state clearly that Yvonne Jegede appeared on The Honest Bunch as part of her publicity drive for her upcoming movie. While this was a paid appearance, it does not in any way afford Yvonne Jegede the right to defame or slander Nedu or the producers of The Honest Bunch.
