Role Summary
Plato Consult Limited is seeking motivated and customer-oriented Call Centre Agents to join its Accra team. The successful candidates will engage directly with customers, provide accurate information, resolve issues efficiently, and promote a positive customer experience across all communication channels.
The role requires professionalism, empathy, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Support
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and other communication channels
- Provide accurate information on products, services, promotions, and company policies
- Clarify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions
- Deliver high-quality service that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty
Problem Resolution
- Investigate and diagnose customer concerns and service issues
- Resolve complaints efficiently within established service standards
- Escalate complex issues to relevant departments when necessary
- Follow up on customer cases to ensure full resolution and satisfaction
Service Request Processing
- Process customer requests, transactions, account updates, and service activations accurately
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions
- Ensure proper updating and safeguarding of customer information
Sales & Customer Retention
- Identify opportunities to promote relevant products and services
- Educate customers on new offerings and value-added services
- Support customer retention through proactive engagement and excellent service delivery
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Adhere to customer service standards, operational procedures, and quality guidelines
- Contribute ideas to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Participate in training and development programs to improve performance
Administrative Responsibilities
- Document all customer interactions accurately and consistently
- Report system or communication equipment issues promptly
- Support team and departmental objectives through collaboration
Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline
- Completion of National Service is required
- Previous experience in customer service, call centre operations, or related roles is an advantage
- Experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage
