Position Summary
KEDA Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a skilled and dependable Construction & Technical Worker – Carpenter to support factory construction and infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in carpentry, construction, installation, and maintenance activities while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale industrial projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction & Technical Worker – Carpenter, you will:
- Perform carpentry, construction, installation, and maintenance tasks in accordance with project specifications and operational requirements.
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, formwork, fixtures, and related components as required.
- Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support factory construction activities, including civil works, structural works, and equipment installation projects.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Assist supervisors, engineers, and project teams in achieving construction and operational objectives.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Contribute to the timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
