Position Summary
KEDA Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction & Technical Worker – Steel Bender to support ongoing factory construction and infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, bending, cutting, and assembling reinforcement steel according to project specifications while supporting broader construction activities. This role is essential to ensuring the structural integrity and successful completion of construction projects across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction & Technical Worker – Steel Bender, you will:
- Perform steel bending, cutting, shaping, and assembly activities in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
- Interpret construction drawings, reinforcement schedules, and technical instructions to accurately prepare steel components.
- Operate steel bending machines, cutting equipment, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Support factory construction projects, including civil works, structural works, and equipment installation activities.
- Measure, position, and secure reinforcement steel for concrete structures and other construction applications.
- Assist supervisors, engineers, and project teams in achieving construction milestones and project objectives.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering requirements.
- Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in good working condition.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Contribute to maintaining a productive, safe, and organized construction environment.

Requirements
- Relevant work experience in steel bending, reinforcement works, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical trade.

- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and reinforcement schedules.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently under supervision and meet project deadlines.
- Relevant trade certifications or technical qualifications in steel fixing, construction, fabrication, or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
