Position Summary

KEDA Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction & Technical Worker – Mason to support factory construction and infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will perform masonry and construction activities that contribute to the successful delivery of civil and structural works while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

As a Construction & Technical Worker – Mason, you will:

  • Perform masonry, construction, installation, and maintenance activities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Lay bricks, blocks, concrete units, and other construction materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Construct, repair, and maintain walls, foundations, floors, and other masonry structures.
  • Prepare and apply mortar, cement, concrete, and related construction materials.
  • Support factory construction projects, including civil works, structural developments, and equipment installation activities.
  • Operate masonry tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret basic construction drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
  • Assist supervisors, engineers, and project teams in achieving construction targets and project milestones.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in masonry, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical field.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and measurements.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet project deadlines.
  • Relevant trade certifications, vocational training, or technical qualifications in masonry, construction, or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
