We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Senior Technicians to join our technical team. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals who are passionate about mechanical systems, vehicle assembly, and technical problem-solving while supporting the development of junior team members.

Position Summary

The Senior Technician will be responsible for assembling, diagnosing, and repairing 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers in line with technical specifications and safety standards. The successful candidate will also provide technical leadership to junior technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficient workshop operations, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Technical Operations

• Assemble 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers according to approved technical specifications and quality standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers and implement effective repair solutions.
• Perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and technical efficiency.
• Ensure all completed work meets safety, quality, and operational standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on vehicles.
• Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
• Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records for all assigned vehicles.

Supervision & Technical Leadership

• Supervise and guide junior technicians during assembly, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and technical support to develop team capability.
• Ensure adherence to technical procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Support workload coordination and task allocation within the workshop team.

Safety & Workshop Management

• Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Support regular safety checks and risk prevention initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in assembly, repair, or maintenance of 2-wheelers or 3-wheelers.
• Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience working in a workshop or vehicle assembly environment.
• Knowledge of motorcycle or tricycle systems will be an advantage.
