We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Research, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to educational research, strategic planning, and evidence-based decision-making that supports the continuous improvement of Ghana’s education system.

Key Responsibilities

As the Assistant Research, Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, you will:

  • Assist in the design and development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret educational data to support planning, policy development, and decision-making.
  • Prepare research reports, performance reports, and analytical briefs for management.
  • Support the implementation of research, planning, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation and educational programmes to assess effectiveness and impact.
  • Compile, manage, and maintain accurate research and monitoring data.
  • Assist in conducting surveys, field studies, and other research activities.
  • Perform any other duties assigned in support of the Directorate’s objectives.

Qualification and Experience

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience.
  • Evidence of completion of National Service.
  • The ability to successfully complete a competitive selection process conducted by the Governing Board in consultation with the Public Services Commission.
