About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Fleet Operations Specialist to join our dynamic taxi company. This role is the operational backbone of our fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our vehicles and drivers, handling everything from maintenance to financial settlements. We need a critical thinker who is not afraid to make tough decisions and defend the company’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Recruitment & Retention: Actively source, interview, and onboard new drivers for the fleet.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Manage the repair and maintenance process. This includes finding reliable mechanics and electricians, negotiating repair costs, and ensuring vehicles are back on the road quickly.
• Damage & Loss Recovery: Monitor vehicle conditions. Identify damages caused by drivers and effectively manage the recovery of repair costs from responsible parties.
• Driver Support: Provide hands-on technical support to drivers regarding the Yango (Янго) driver application, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Administration & Reporting: Accurately record and update driver shift information in Google Sheets. Prepare and submit regular reports on vehicle status, debtor lists, and financial performance to management.
• Financial Control: Monitor driver payments, ensuring the timely collection of vehicle rental fees.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Execute additional operational tasks and directives as assigned by the Fleet Management Team.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in process organization (specifically vehicle repairs or technical fleet management) and experience in recruiting or selecting personnel for specific tasks. Previous experience working in a taxi fleet or car rental service is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems to effectively diagnose issues and negotiate with repair shops.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities. You must be able to manage difficult situations with drivers while remaining professional.
• Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be able to verify information, question assumptions, and not take statements at face value without factual evidence.
• Character: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and resilient. You must have the ability to stand your ground and firmly defend the company’s interests.
• License: Valid driver’s license and confident driving skills.
