We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) to join our team. The successful candidate will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver tailored financial solutions to corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with corporate clients to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, originate, and convert new business opportunities within the corporate banking segment.
  • Provide clients with tailored banking and financial solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support sound credit and business decisions.
  • Structure appropriate banking solutions and oversee the preparation and review of related documentation.
  • Promote and cross-sell corporate banking products and services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong networks within the public sector and multinational companies, particularly in the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and timely execution of client transactions.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members by sharing commercial best practices, technical expertise, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Achieve assigned business, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in driving business within Corporate Banking.
  • Strong knowledge of Corporate Banking products and services.
  • Solid expertise in financial analysis and credit assessment.
  • Experience in structuring banking solutions and managing transaction documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of the banking industry, banking products, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience serving Public Sector institutions and/or Multinational Companies (MNCs), with sector expertise in Mining and Oil & Gas considered an advantage.
  • Strong networking, relationship management, and business development skills.
  • A proven ability to identify, pursue, and successfully close new business opportunities independently.
  • A strong track record of acquiring new-to-bank corporate clients and delivering sustainable business growth.
  • Excellent analytical, consultative, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused, commercially driven, and collaborative approach to work.
