We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to influence business performance by aligning people strategies with organizational goals while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
Position Summary
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic and operational HR support that drives organizational effectiveness. You will lead key people initiatives, strengthen employee relations, support talent development, and ensure HR practices align with business objectives and applicable labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
- Lead employee relations initiatives and resolve workplace issues in accordance with company policies and labour laws.
- Build and maintain positive industrial relations while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Advise managers on performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve organizational performance.
- Drive change management initiatives that support business transformation and growth.
- Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and employee well-being.
Qualifications & Experience
- A good first degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Relevant professional HR certification (such as CIPD, SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or an equivalent qualification).
- A minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in Human Resources Management.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Proven expertise in industrial relations, employee relations, labour law compliance, and conflict resolution.
- Appreciable knowledge or experience within the steel fabrication industry or a related industrial/manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
