Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, you will:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in accordance with approved recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in all kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to minimize waste.
- Assist with food preparation, portion control, and inventory management.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Support the Head Chef and other team members in achieving operational excellence.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain safe food handling practices.
- Contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting service deadlines.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations, workplace safety standards, and kitchen best practices.
- A strong commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering excellent culinary experiences.
