We are looking for a courteous, dependable, and service-oriented Porter to join our team and provide outstanding support to our guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
As a Porter, you will:
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage and personal belongings.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel facilities and services.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide courteous assistance throughout their stay.
- Transport luggage safely during guest arrivals, departures, and room changes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of entrance areas, lobby spaces, and luggage storage areas.
- Assist with the delivery of guest items, messages, and other requested services.
- Support the Front Office team to ensure smooth and efficient guest operations.
- Report maintenance issues, lost property, or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards, hotel policies, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to creating a positive, welcoming, and memorable guest experience.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a porter, bell attendant, or hospitality support role.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting operational deadlines.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of workplace safety standards and hospitality best practices.
- A professional appearance with a strong customer service orientation.
- Physical fitness and the ability to safely lift and transport guests’ luggage.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
