Sonnie Badu Says Demonic Possessions Worse Among Whites

Sonnie Badu

The founder of Rock Hill Church and singer-songwriter, Sonnie Badu, has revealed that in his line of work, he has observed “demonic possessions among the Whites are worse” compared to Blacks.

Whether he was being hyperbolic or not is not known but he said this disabusing his audience of the mentality only Africans experience demon-possession.

He cited a woman who went to him, “She had married Satan, when she was confessing, they killed her son,” to buttress.

The advancement and development seen “externally abroad,” he admonished was only a veneer that “can make one think there is no demonic activities there but that’s not true”.

“The poverty and hardship may make it appear as though demons are more active in Africa but witchcraft and the demonic world is everywhere.”

Sonnie Badu

He said he knew this as a matter of fact from “counseling sessions” with people from diverse ethnicities and backgrounds from around the world.

The founder of Rock Hill Church also spoke on the due process for delivering people of evil spirits.

“People like my church because my teachings expose some of these things and give direction and relief to people. Deliverance is not done overnight. In America, unlike in Africa, if you touch or lay hands on someone and they fall down and hurt themselves they can sue you.

“[Therefore] there has to be a consent form, [you] sign a contract. To even operate, you have to insure your church. My church is insured – millions of dollars.”

Sonnie Badu

Sonnie Badu further noted precautions taken during sessions of deliverance since demons could enter those who assist the pastor at work.

“In my church, if you’re not prayerful, you’re not allowed to hold anybody during deliverance because demons fly in the air and look for empty vessels to go into. So while you assist with a cloth [for a woman being prayed for, for instance], if you’re not praying and you are easy prey, the demon can enter you.

“Due to this I don’t commend children to be around areas of deliverances and if there are children there, their parents have to anoint them right there, making a cross sign on their foreheads.”

Sonnie Badu

Sonnie Badu said it was due process for the pastor or deliverance minister to cast out the demon and “command it to go somewhere [else],” explaining: “If you don’t, it’ll find a place [of its choosing] to go”.

He warned if this was not done, the spirit could back into its original victim, after wandering, and it may be worse off than before.

Although he revealed being a deliverance minister was a spiritual gift, he said one still needed mentorship to excel in that service.

Meanwhile, the US-based Ghanaian musician is in Ghana for his peace walk event scheduled for Saturday, November 23. With Danquah Circle as its meeting point, Independence Square is the destination. The time is 7 AM.

Ghanaians Urged to Consider Their Circumstances Before Voting

Sonnie Badu encouraged Ghanaians to “cast a vote for Ghana” come Saturday, December 7, 2024.

The Rock Hill Church founder and leader noted the candidates alone knew in their heart of hearts what their true intentions were for Ghana and its citizens.

“Ghana must win. If you’re happy, vote. If you’re not, vote. Consider your circumstances and vote.”

Sonnie Badu

To protect one’s electoral integrity, however, he admonished the electorate against succumbing to vote-buying schemes like the sharing of foodstuffs.

“Don’t let someone deceive you with gari, rice, yam, so you throw away your precious vote. The only time you have power is now [during the election period] and it’s shown by politicians visiting and mingling with you in towns and villages as if they can relate to your circumstances. When they get power, they will never come back.”

Sonnie Badu

With this in mind, Sonnie Badu encouraged voters to “discipline” politicians who have failed them.

He emphasized he would not dictate who should be supported by Ghanaians or who would win at the polls. “I’m only sharing my principles,” he noted.
