Ahiagbah on NPP conference

Richard Ahiagba, National Communications Director- NPP

Richard Ahiagbah, Director of Communications for the NPP, emphasized that the phrase “Bawumia means business” is more than just a slogan.

Ahiagbah asserted that it is backed by Vice President Bawumia’s substantial contributions to public service, which demonstrate his commitment to getting things done.

Accordingly, he strongly advised middle-class Ghanaians, professionals, and business leaders – who base their voting decisions on merit rather than party loyalty – to consider Dr. Bawumia as a viable option.

“Furthermore, I recommend Dr. Bawumia to the broader Ghanaian electorate for his commitment to improving healthcare for all”.

“Based on my personal experiences with our healthcare system, I believe that the vision articulated in his 2024 manifesto will lead to enhanced healthcare outcomes for every Ghanaian”.

Richard Ahiagbah

Ahiagbah further encouraged Ghanaians to scrutinize the NPP’s healthcare initiatives, particularly the commitment to complete the Agenda 111 project, which promises to deliver a hospital in every district, thereby revolutionizing access to quality healthcare across the country.

He emphasized that this initiative would have a ripple effect, leading to the recruitment of more doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals, who would be attracted by enhanced conditions of service, including better salaries, benefits, and working environments.

The NPP Communicator emphasized that a victory for Dr. Bawumia would pave the way for the successful completion of the E-health project, fully digitizing public healthcare institutions and revolutionizing the way healthcare services are delivered in Ghana.

As a result, he pointed out that this initiative will enable the expansion of telehealth services, bridging the healthcare gap and increasing access to quality medical care, especially for rural and underserved communities.

Ahiagbah assured that the next NPP government, led by Dr. Bawumia, will further revolutionize healthcare delivery by establishing two new medical drone delivery sites in Funsi and Kintampo.

He indicated that this will significantly expand drone coverage and ensure timely access to medical supplies and emergency services.

Seamless Healthcare Integration

Furthermore, Ahiagbah assured that an NPP government under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will guarantee seamless integration and interoperability of the National Electronic Pharmacy Platform (NEPP).

Ahiagbah stated that all public and private healthcare facilities migrated onto the NEPP, enhancing prescription management, reducing errors, and improving patient care.

He announced that the NPP government will offer incentives to healthcare workers to acquire vehicles with engine capacities of up to 1,800cc, making it easier for them to own reliable transportation and commute to work.

He emphasized that the government will strictly enforce the existing incentive package for health workers serving in deprived areas, ensuring they receive the benefits and support they deserve.

“I am confident that increasing the number of hospitals and equipping them adequately will directly improve healthcare outcomes for Ghanaians across all districts, thereby alleviating the pressure on tertiary hospitals such as Komfo Anokye. Central to Dr. Bawumia’s vision is the recruitment and motivation of health sector workers, as highlighted in points 7 and 8 above”.

“This approach will help stem the exodus of healthcare workers, increase staff capacity, and inevitably lead to higher quality care and better outcomes for all Ghanaians”.

Richard Ahiagbah

As such, Ahiagbah made a passionate appeal to all health sector workers to lend their support to Dr. Bawumia in the forthcoming election on December 7, 2024, and vote for him as the next President of Ghana.

He emphasized that “health is wealth,” and therefore, Dr. Bawumia is steadfast in his commitment to prioritizing the well-being and health of all Ghanaians, recognizing that a healthy nation is a prosperous nation.

He passionately appealed to all Ghanaians to cast their votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, promising that his leadership would guarantee quality, accessible, and enhanced healthcare outcomes, ensuring a healthier future.

“A vote for Bawumia is a vote for your health”. – Richard Ahiagbah
