Kaaka’s brother innocent of charges
Also facing the committee, the widow of Kaaka, Sahada Hudu, stated that Kaaka’s elder brother is innocent and should be freed of the charges leveled against him.
According to her, the neighbor who testified against her brother-in-law, accusing him of being responsible for Kaaka’s death must also be thoroughly investigated.
Sahada Hudu said the woman who cited Kaaka’s elder brother as a suspect in the killing did not personally see him involved in the physical assault that led to her husband’s death.
Moreover, she called for a thorough probe into the issue to enable the individuals responsible for the death of Kaaka to be dealt with.
“Conduct your investigations well, and find out the one who caused my husband’s death. The one who testified against my husband’s brother should be called. We live in the same house. She told me that she didn’t see anything, but she said she only heard the sound of my husband entering the house. She didn’t see anything because all of us went to the scene to see what had happened.”
