According to Richard Ahiagbah, NPP’s Director of Communications, comparisons are a fundamental element of political discourse, emphasizing that political communication inherently involves making comparisons.
He emphasized that political achievements cannot be evaluated in isolation, but rather must be assessed in relation to others, highlighting that comparison is the essential benchmark for measuring success in politics.
“This government has achieved significant milestones in the history of our four republics. Stating these unprecedented milestones should not be deemed a slight on the legacies of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah or others. It’s political communication”.
Richard Ahiagbah
Ahiagbah highlighted that one of the groundbreaking accomplishments of the current administration is the successful implementation of a comprehensive nationwide Free Senior High School (SHS) program, a feat unprecedented in the country’s history.
The NPP Communicator also highlighted the NPP administration’s enduring legacies, including the pioneering achievement of providing one ambulance per constituency, a critical boost to healthcare access.
He also mentioned the revolutionary 1D1F initiative, which has successfully established at least one factory in each district, transforming the nation’s industrial landscape.
Ahiagbah further credited the NPP administration with the ambitious Agenda 111 project, a landmark initiative that involves the construction of 101 district hospitals, 7 regional hospitals, and 3 psychiatric hospitals.
He noted that this project will revolutionize Ghana’s healthcare infrastructure and deliver quality medical care to citizens across the country.
The NPP loyalist highlighted the government’s remarkable accomplishment in establishing six new regions at once, a landmark decision that has decentralized power, fostered greater regional autonomy, and unlocked new opportunities for growth and development.
Ahiagbah credited the incumbent government with revolutionizing Ghana’s digital landscape, citing the successful introduction of mobile money payment interoperability and a far-reaching digitalization agenda.
According to the NPP Communicator, these have not only enhanced financial inclusion but also positioned the country to fully participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Ahiagbah Hails Akufo-Addo/Bawumia’s Infrastructure Achievements
Richard Ahiagbah commended the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration for its remarkable infrastructure development achievements, particularly the construction of an impressive 11,975.96 kilometers of roads.

He noted that there are other numerous ongoing projects set to further expand the country’s road network and enhance connectivity across Ghana.
“Expansion of the School Feeding Program to accommodate 3 million pupils daily. President Akufo-Addo’s initiative to decentralize power by allowing the people to elect Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs)”.
Richard Ahiagbah
Ahiagbah stressed that these accomplishments are genuinely unprecedented, representing a remarkable breakthrough in governance and development, and cementing the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration’s legacy as one of transformative vision and leadership.
He pointed out that a thorough examination of the records from all four republics reveals that no other president or head of state has matched these achievements.
The NPP Communicator noted that this makes the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration’s accomplishments truly singular and unprecedented in Ghana’s political history.
He enthusiastically encouraged Ghanaians to lend their support to the Bawumia-Napo ticket in the coming elections, emphasizing that their visionary leadership will continue to drive transformative progress and usher in a new era of growth, prosperity, and development for Ghana.
However, the NDC vehemently disagreed with the NPP, lambasting the ruling party’s ticket as a ‘loose-talking, reckless duo’ and dismissing their economic policies as the work of an “incompetent whiz economist”.
The NDC implied that its opponent, the NPP, lacks the vision and expertise to steer Ghana’s economy effectively.
The NDC proclaimed that John Mahama is the most prominent and newsworthy leader in Ghana, widely regarded for his exceptional integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, and sincerity, making him a beacon of hope and a shining example of leadership excellence in the country.
The NDC alleged that the NPP communicators are lamenting because Dr. Napo’s uncouth responses have left them reeling, his reckless rebuttals having exposed the flaws in their arguments and rendered their counter-narratives ineffective.
