Kwetey Appeals To Ghanaians To Choose A Leader With A Proven Track Record

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, National Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has appealed to Ghanaians to consider vision, experience, credibility, and track record when casting their votes in the upcoming December elections.

Accordingly, he stressed that the 2024 elections are a critical juncture for the nation’s resurgence and transformation.

According to Fifi Kwetey, John Dramani Mahama boasts a unique combination of vision, experience, credibility, and achievements, making him the ideal leader to steer Ghana towards rapid recovery and sustainable growth.

“For over seven years, Ghanaians have endured hardship under the current administration. Corruption is rampant, and scandals are frequent, desensitizing the public. Leadership paralysis has left the nation in disarray, characterized by extreme corruption, abuse of power, and incompetence”.

Furthermore, Fifi Kwetey emphasized that in the face of these daunting challenges, John Mahama and the NDC present a beacon of hope and a promising alternative for Ghana’s brighter future.

Fifi Kwetey emphasized that John Mahama’s leadership vision is focused on rescuing Ghana from its current woes, resetting the nation’s trajectory, and restoring its momentum toward progress and development.

The NDC stalwart revealed that John Mahama’s comprehensive vision for Ghana encompasses inclusivity, innovation, and sustainable development, poised to transform the nation into a beacon of progress and prosperity.

He highlighted John Mahama’s commitment to equipping young people with valuable skills and employment opportunities, setting them up for success, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Fifi Kwetey stated that John Mahama is committed to eradicating corruption and reinstating transparency in government operations, ensuring a governance framework built on integrity and accountability.

Mahama’s Experience Key To Ghana’s Future

Moreover, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey emphasized that John Mahama’s wealth of experience as a former president uniquely positions him to skillfully navigate the complex challenges facing the nation and steer Ghana toward a brighter future.

He noted that John Mahama’s distinguished legacy includes a range of accomplishments in infrastructure expansion, social program implementation, and economic policy formulation, which collectively contributed to Ghana’s remarkable growth and development during his presidency.

“At this critical juncture, Ghana needs a leader with Vision, Experience, Credibility, and a proven Track Record. John Mahama embodies these qualities and is uniquely positioned to rescue Ghana from its current challenges”.

Fifi Fiavi Kwetey

He pointed out that choosing the NDC flagbearer means opting for a leader who is in tune with the nation’s values, engages with its people, and takes courageous and effective action to drive progress and improvement.

Accordingly, Fifi Kwetey urged Ghanaians to stand solidly behind John Mahama, a visionary leader, and together, create a new chapter of hope, growth, and transformation, ushering in a brighter dawn for the nation.

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, lamented that the current government has degenerated into an era of unbridled corruption, nepotism, blatant theft, reckless squandering of national resources, impunity, and widespread criminality, which have become the defining characteristics of Ghana’s leadership.

“With the national spirit sinking to an all-time low and hopelessness engulfing our country, a change in governance and direction is imperative”.

John Mahama announced that his candidacy for president is a deliberate attempt to offer a credible alternative, tackle the entrenched challenges, and lead Ghana toward a brighter future, anchored on the principles of good governance and leadership.

The NDC also expressed its confidence in its campaign team and declared its readiness to wrest power from the incumbent government through the upcoming election, leveraging a robust campaign strategy and grassroots support.
