Joyce Mogtari Bawah, Special Aide to John Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has reaffirmed her confidence in the party’s existing protocols, asserting that the NDC is fully equipped and ready for the impending battle in the December elections.
Bawah denounced the perpetrators of falsehoods, including claims that women were sharing contracts and John Mahama owned properties abroad and DKB Finance, knowing these allegations were entirely fabricated.
She asserted confidently that the baseless and false narratives of these individuals would not succeed in achieving their objectives this electoral season.
“Remember that no matter what you do or how well you do it- irrespective of how highly qualified you are compared to many of the sexist individuals who disparage you in the name of politics- they will not address the issues at hand”.
“Instead, they will resort to using sex as a low-hanging fruit, weaponizing it as a tool to silence you”.

According to Joyce Bawah, The NDC has been vigilant in the face of a rising tide of disinformation, fake news, and manipulated quotes.
She noted that in today’s digital age, the spread of false information can have far-reaching consequences, and the NDC is taking steps to combat this menace.
Bawah highlighted the party’s awareness of quotes being taken out of context, a tactic often used to mislead and deceive the public.
Bawah further stated that the proliferation of fake news and disinformation poses a significant threat to the integrity of the electoral process.
As such, she indicated that the NDC remains committed to setting the record straight and ensuring that accurate information reaches the citizens, thereby promoting a well-informed and discerning electorate.
The NDC stalwart indicated that by staying vigilant and proactive, the party aims to mitigate the harmful effects of disinformation and uphold the truth in the lead-up to the elections.
NPP Running Mate Misses The Mark
Furthermore, Joyce Mogtari Bawah expressed dismay that the newly appointed running mate of the NPP, who debuted with a scathing critique of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s legacy, seems to have failed to learn from history.

Bawah noted that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s initial public appearance was marked by a misguided attack on the revered African leader, dubbed Africa’s Man of the Millennium, leaving much to be desired in terms of wisdom and insight.
“He has now become a rarely used spare tyre simply waxing lyrical and spewing utter drivel, while most of them remain silent Let me ask Odikro: whose responsibility is it to advise him?”
Joyce Mogtari Bawah
Bawah continued to condemn Dr. Prempeh’s behavior, observing that his actions suggest a stark deficiency in the requisite knowledge and expertise, rendering his statements and actions particularly egregious.
She further observed that the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate is woefully deficient in effective communication skills, lacking the ability to articulate thoughts with clarity, coherence, and persuasive power.
Bawah noted that Dr. Prempeh’s attempts at dishonesty lack the polish and panache of certain veteran NPP figures, who have honed the craft of peddling untruths with remarkable skill.
As such, she encouraged everyone to rally behind the Mahama 2024 campaign, which promises to deliver reliable, honest, and transparent leadership.
Bawah confidently declared that the NDC’s campaign is built on a transformative vision to “Reset Ghana”, ushering in a new era of economic growth, job creation, and unparalleled prosperity, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens to thrive.
Meanwhile, the NDC cautions Ghanaians to be vigilant and dismiss misleading information circulating on social media, which is deliberately designed to misrepresent and undermine their campaign.
The NDC reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to transparency and truthfulness, pledging to provide accurate and reliable information to the public, thereby maintaining the integrity of its campaign and earning the trust of the electorate in its quest for political leadership.
