According to Sammy Adu Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the NDC, the latest findings from the Office of Special Prosecutor have once again cleared H.E. John Dramani Mahama of any wrongdoing in the Airbus saga, thereby vindicating him.
Gyamfi noted that the malicious smear campaign orchestrated by the corrupt Akufo-Addo/Bawumia clique, who are frantically seeking to tarnish others with their own corrupt label, has ultimately failed.
“Seven and half years after leaving office, John Mahama remains squeaky clean with unblemished integrity. Certainly, John Mahama is the incorruptible leader Ghana needs to win the fight against corruption”.
“Lies they say, have a short life span. And vindication they say, is in the womb of time”.
Sammy Adu Gyamfi,
Hon. Clement Apaak also hailed the clearance of John Dramani Mahama as a testament to his unshakeable credibility, expressing delight at the validation of the NDC flagbearer’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
Hon. Apaak emphasized that the NDC has consistently held that the Airbus saga, in relation to John Dramani Mahama, was a baseless and fabricated allegation concocted by the NPP government, which he described as the “Mother Serpent of Corruption”, and its allies.
As such, he emphasized that this exoneration vindicates the NDC’s long-held position and exposes the NPP’s desperation to tarnish Mahama’s reputation.
The MP highlighted that divine providence has once again revealed the true nature of the corrupt Akufo-Addo and Bawumia-led NPP government and its associates, exposing their deceitful ways.
Hon. Apaak pointed out that despite the relentless barrage of accusations, insults, and propaganda, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has ultimately cleared John Dramani Mahama of any wrongdoing in the Airbus saga, vindicating his innocence.
He accentuated that John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to transparency and accountability remains unwavering, solidifying his stance as an incorruptible statesman.
NDC Urges Faith In Mahama’s Leadership
Given John Mahama’s reputation for trustworthiness and incorruptibility, the NDC urged Ghanaians to have faith in his ability to steer the nation towards sustainable development, with a special focus on women’s economic advancement.
The NDC noted that the recent exoneration of former President John Mahama by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) speaks volumes, serving as a testament to his integrity and vindicating his reputation.

According to Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, National Secretary of the NDC, former President John Mahama is committed to revolutionizing the lives of Ghanaian women through economic empowerment, providing them with the necessary tools and support to thrive and reach their full potential.
“Recognizing that the financial independence of our mothers is crucial for alleviating poverty, and household burdens and strengthening family bonds, he proposes a bold initiative—a Women’s Bank run by women, for women”.
“The Women’s Bank will provide a sustainable source of funding to our industrious mothers and sisters in trading, commerce, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurship, and farming, all at no interest rate. The Women’s Bank will exclusively serve women as both customers and staff, ensuring a supportive environment tailored to their needs”.
