Prof. Kobby Mensah, the newly appointed CEO of the Ghana Tourism Development Company, has emphasized the significance of his appointment, highlighting the President’s commitment to integrating both practical experience and academic expertise in governance.

According to Prof. Mensah, the President’s decision to appoint individuals from the academic community, including himself, reflects a recognition of the vital role that intellectual insights and practical application play in shaping national development. 

He noted that this approach aligns with the broader vision of building a prosperous and sustainable Ghana, where evidence-based policies and informed decision-making drive progress.

“I am happy to announce that I officially submitted my letter of acceptance to my appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) early this morning. I am deeply grateful”.

Prof. Mensah further expressed his belief that harnessing a blend of academic knowledge and real-world practice would enhance the effectiveness of leadership across various sectors, ultimately contributing to the realization of the nation’s development goals.

He also expressed his deep gratitude to the President of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, for recognizing his expertise and entrusting him with this important role.

The Political Marketing Strategist acknowledged that his appointment is a significant honor and a testament to the President’s confidence in his abilities.
